The Bartenders Guide to the Job Interview
Here we go! You got the interview. This is where the rubber meets the road, and you’re raring to go. Or are you? Did you prepare? Got your answers down pat? You better!
I know that it’s difficult for some people to go through an interview. I know it is for me. I don’t like them. Period. However, if you did the work – if you prepared properly in advance – you’re going to be just fine.
Along with Section 15, Bartender Job Preparation, this is my favorite part of the course. Why? Because I know what Bar Mangers are looking for. I’ve been there – many times on both sides of the interview table.
Times have changed. Bar Managers these days are doing a little bit better job of “vetting” their possible new hires. I’ll set you up for success.
You’re going to see videos of me answering actual bartender interview questions. That’s right – I put it on the line showing you, visually, how to come up with unique answers to almost every common interview question. Fun stuff!
